How 2026 Started for STORM Virtual Events

The start of 2026 has been a busy and positive period for the STORM VIRTUAL Events team, reflecting the growing demand for high quality virtual, hybrid and live broadcast events across the UK and beyond.

In January alone, the team successfully delivered 67 virtual and hybrid events, ranging from internal company updates to large scale live broadcasts. That momentum has continued into February, with 42 events already completed and more than 40 additional virtual events scheduled in the coming weeks.

This early activity highlights not just an increase in volume, but a shift in how organisations approach virtual event production with a greater focus on reliability, experience and ease for both speakers and audiences.

Virtual Events That Feel Simple – Even When They’re Not

Client expectations around virtual and hybrid events have evolved. It’s no longer enough for events to simply run on time; they need to feel effortless. Speakers expect to be fully supported, audiences expect a seamless experience, and clients need reassurance that last minute changes won’t cause disruption.

Throughout January, STORM delivered a wide variety of professionally produced virtual events, including webinars, workshops, town halls and broadcast style presentations. While every event brings its own challenges, the consistent feedback was that sessions ran smoothly — not because nothing changed, but because changes were handled calmly and professionally.

Client responses reflected this:

“Every aspect of our experience working with you has been brilliant. You’ve all made our days easier. Thank you.”

This is central to STORM’s approach to virtual event management. Strong production should reduce pressure, not add to it – allowing clients to focus on content, messaging and engagement rather than technology.

The Continued Rise of Hybrid Events

Hybrid events have remained a key part of STORM’s work in early 2025. More organisations are choosing hybrid event solutions that allow in-person and remote audiences to connect as part of a single experience.

When delivered correctly, hybrid events no longer feel like a compromise. Instead, they offer flexibility without sacrificing quality – combining live audiences, remote speakers and broadcast level production into one cohesive format.

Feedback from recent hybrid events included:

“Best town hall we’ve had yet. Samuel was outstanding – professional, calm, and even hosted our quiz.”

For STORM, success is when audiences forget an event is hybrid at all. When technology fades into the background, the focus stays where it belongs – on people and communication.

The Team Behind STORM Virtual Production

Delivering consistent, high quality virtual and hybrid events relies on experience and teamwork.

Behind every event are producers managing live delivery, assistants handling real time changes, and editors ensuring recordings and data are turned around quickly after each session. Anticipating issues before they arise is a critical part of STORM’s virtual production services.

Clients recognised several team members during this period, including Val and Demmi for managing complex requests and last minute changes, Matt, Sam and Oliver for confident and reassuring hosting, and Sonny for fast turnaround of event recordings and performance data.

This collaborative approach is what allows STORM to deliver virtual events that feel supported, simple and stress-free – regardless of scale or format.

Looking Ahead to the Rest of 2026

With demand for virtual events, hybrid conferences and broadcast style productions continuing to grow, the focus for the rest of 2025 is on refinement as much as scale.

STORM will continue developing its virtual event services to ensure clients receive reliable, human-centred experiences that support clear communication and meaningful engagement.

Insights, updates and behind-the-scenes perspectives will be shared throughout the year as the virtual events landscape continues to evolve.
