When you need your experience to be immersive, you can count on Storm to deliver.

Taking on the technical aspects of this motivational tunnel experience for NatWest was right up our street and our Founder David Auchterlonie was thrilled that Storm were asked to get involved:

“This is a such an exciting and fun opportunity to be part of this project, and use the technology we have on our shelves to make a very immersive event, both physically and virtually.”

Working in collaboration with Speed Events, we brought our kit and our expertise to the table to deliver video display, audio and lighting for this uniquely immersive vision.

The tunnel’s Absen LED wall measures 4.5M x 2M (that equates to 72 individual panels!) and features eight d&b Audiotechnik E8 speakers. Not only is it huge, it’s also very clever as Mat Finet, Technical Director explains:

“When the participant pressed a button, the experience was activated, but it was actually the audio that controlled everything within the tunnel. From the holding state before launch to powering down at the end of the day everything needed to be autonomous. We used QLab alongside Resolume on Mac Studio to handle audio triggers, video playback and the LED lights. We found that using ARCNET instead of traditional connectivity made linking video, lighting, and audio easier.”
